The PSA-1 727A Spectrum Analyzer is a high performance, reliable instrument for making accurate signal strength measurements of wideband signals over the frequency range most commonly used in the communications industry. The unit has been designed to be small and light-weight, battery operated, or can be operated for 85-265 VAC, and includes its own battery charger. One to two hours of battery operation (depending on duty cycle) are possible with a full charge.
LNA’s can be powered up the feed line via the front panel coax connector by setting the LNA PWR switch to ON. Maximum current is 200ma.
Amplitude Accuracy is typically within 2 dB so that a meaningful and reproducible signal measurement can be taken. On-screen dynamic range is better than 70dB (10 dB per division).
Frequency Coverage is from 1700MHz to 2700MHz. The PSA-1727A can be tuned through the selected band and signals of interest can be centered on the display while their frequency is shown on the center frequency display. This allows for quick and correct identification of the frequency in MHz of a centered signal on the PSA-1 727A display.
